How do I read Draytek partcodes?
DrayTek's routers are identified by the series, and the part code, which are the letters after the series - for example, the V2866LAC-K.
The "-K" symbolises that the product is a UK variant.
Part Code | Example | Meaning |
K | V2866-K | The router is the UK variant, designed to work with UK network and power protocols. |
AC | V2766AC-K | The router has Wi-Fi 5 technology - the AC refers to the network protocol name of WiFi 5, '802.11ac'. |
LAC | V2866LAC-K | The router has LTE capability, meaning it can provide a network connection through 4G as well as Wi-Fi. This means it's great for failover and backup in case your WiFi network goes down. |
AX | V2927AX-K | Similar to the AC part code, AX means this router has Wi-Fi 6 technology, with the AX referring to Wi-Fi 6's network protocol name, '802.11ax'. |
LAX | V2927LAX-5G-K | The router can support both 3/4/5G LTE and WiFi 6 technology. |
