What are the differences between the Unifi USG and UXG-LITE?
Ubiquiti have finally released their USG replacement: the UXG-LITE
A compact, standalone UniFi gateway, the UXG-LITE addresses some of the pain points the USG once had, as well as introducing a full suite of advanced routing and security features:
- 10x routing performance bump to near gigabit IPS/IDS throughput
- Doubled CPU and RAM processing power
- Application, domain, and country-based QoS (opposed to just VOIP & Video QoS)
- Application-aware firewall rules
- Signature-based IPS/IDS threat detection
- VLAN/subnet-based traffic segmentation
- Content, country, domain, and ad filtering
- License-free SD-WAN (When paired with a Cloud Key or Official UniFi Hosting)
