The Seagate Skyhawk ST20000VE002 is a hard drive offering 20TB of storage space, optimised for storing footage recorded by an IP surveillance solution. Designed for use with a Network Video Recorder (NVR), the ST20000VE002 offers a reliable storage solution for IP surveillance footage.

Description

The Seagate SkyHawk ST20000VE002 is optimised for use with NVRs such as the UNVR, able to store up to 20TB of surveillance footage. The drive represents an Enterprise-class hard drive from Seagate, supporting 512 MB of cache data, and is filled with helium to ensure quicker operational speeds.

The hard drive can support a workload of up to 550TB per year, features a SATA6 interface and can support up to 64 HD cameras as well as delivering zero dropped frames due to its ImagePerfect AI support. The ST2000VX008 is also able to support unlimited drive bays.

Also included is SkyHawk Health Management, a sophisticated suite of data security and reliability protocols that focus on prevention, intervention and recovery.
