The Seagate Skyhawk ST6000VX001 is a 3TB hard drive, optimised for use in video analytics and IP surveillance systems. Designed for use with a Network Video Recorder (NVR), the ST6000VX001 offers a reliable storage solution for IP surveillance footage.

Description

The Seagate SkyHawk ST6000VX001 is optimised for use with NVRs such as the UNVR, able to store up to 6TB of surveillance footage. Up to 16 drive bays are supported, as well as a 256MB cache for speedy operation.

The hard drive can support a workload of up to 180TB per year, features a SATA6 interface and can support up to 64 HD cameras as well as delivering zero dropped frames due to its ImagePerfect AI support. The ST6000VX001 also includes RV sensors for easy scalability.

Also included is SkyHawk Health Management, a sophisticated suite of data security and reliability protocols that focus on prevention, intervention and recovery.
