MikroTik’s CCR2116-12G-4S+ has had a massive performance boost, which allows you to forget about any CPU limitations. This router features 12 x Gigabit Ethernet ports and 4 x 10G SFP+ ports. There is also another Gigabit port connected directly to the CPU for management purposes.

Description

The MikroTik CCR2116 is equipped with dual redundant power supplies, 2 built-in M.2 PCIe slots allowing 8TB of storage, 4 x 10G SFP+ ports and 12 x 1G Ethernet ports.

Each group of 4 ports on the CCR2116-12G-4S+ has a separate full-duplex connection to the switch chip. You can expect switch-like throughput in most setups. The new generation of processors offers mind-blowing performance.

The Cloud Core CCR2116 offers unrivalled performance due to its 16GB of built-in DDR4 RAM and unique 16 core processor with the ports directly connected to the CPU and Marvell chip.

With reliable 10G networking this device is perfect for dealing with dynamic routing, massive BGPs, complex firewall rules and intricate service configurations.
