MikroTik L009 8-Port PoE Router (L009UiGS-RM)

The MikroTik L009UiGS-RM 8-port network router is built for variety and flexibility, supporting a huge range of ports for wired connectivity, PoE-In and PoE-Out on the first and last ports respectively, and an SFP cage for up to 2.5G connectivity. The L009UiGS-RM provides connectivity for up to eight devices simultaneously through its 8 x gigabit RJ45 ports and also incorporates a console port for direct quick-access configuration for admins, as well as a full-sized USB-A for connecting extra storage, accessories, or even a 4G modem dongle for failover potential.

This router is supported by a Marvell Peridot Switchchip that offers 2.5 Gigabit full duplex connection to the CPU for all ports, unlocking significantly faster operation. In addition to hardware, the L009UiGS-RM also comes equipped with a sophisticated suite of software and quality of life improvements like complex customisable firewall rules, IPsec hardware encryption, and support for Linux kernel features.

The chassis of MikroTik's L009UiGS-RM is engineered to function as a heat sink, efficiently directing generated heat away from the router's critical components to enhance device longevity. Additionally, up to four L009UiGS-RM units can be mounted within a single 1U rack space, maximising space economy in tightly-packed racks.
