The Netgear JGS524 ProSAFE 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch has 48Gbps of bandwidth, providing 2000 Mbps per port. This unmanaged, rack-mountable switch features 10/100/1000 automatic speed and full/half-duplex sensing, plus Auto Uplink on every port. With the ability to deliver large amounts of multimedia, image, and video information fast, the JGS524 is ideal for workgroups or growing offices looking for outstanding performance at an affordable price.

Description

The Netgear JGS524 Switch offers 24 Auto-Sensing Gigabit Ports, that connect up to 10 x faster than Fast Ethernet to deliver maximum performance. Each port is equipped with automatic speed and duplex sensing, plus Auto Uplink to adjust for straight-through or crossover cables to make the right link. Standards-based design makes it easy to combine 10, 100, and 1000 Mbps devices on your network.

With Plug-n-Play connectivity this switch can be easily installed and integrated into any network. You can easily monitor this unmanaged switch, with the LEDs provided, per port, for effortless network monitoring.

This Switch provides flexibility with its compact form factor that allows for it to be deployed on a desktop or rack-mounted, with a rack-mount kit supplied.

1000 Mbps speeds and a switching capacity of up to 48 Gbps meet the performance needs for even the most bandwidth-hungry applications, making it suitable for graphics, multimedia, and other applications that have to move large files across the network quickly.
