Shelly, a market leader in professional automation, has officially launched its UK Installer Programme, making it easier than ever for customers to find certified Shelly installers in their area. By registering, installers can showcase their expertise on the Shelly website, allowing potential customers to quickly access contact details, including phone numbers, emails, and addresses.
Three Levels of Certification
The Shelly Installer Programme offers three certification levels, each designed to highlight an installer's expertise:
✓ Bronze: Covers the basics of Shelly products, app usage, and wiring. Installers at this level must complete Shelly’s basic training and will receive a Shelly starter pack worth £150 (one per registered company).
✓ Silver: Provides an intermediate-level understanding, including scripting, webhooks, wiring, and networking. This level requires completion of the Shelly advanced training, available only to those who have achieved Bronze status.
✓ Gold: The highest certification, demonstrating advanced proficiency in scripting, webhooks, wiring, networking, and app usage. To earn Gold, installers must complete the Shelly scripting course after achieving Silver certification.
How to Get Certified
To earn a certification, installers must complete one of the following:
✓ Attend Live Webinars: Installers must participate in live sessions (YouTube recordings do not count). Webinars are available for both basic and advanced training.
✓ In-Person Training: Hands-on training sessions are available through NetXL and B Electrical Skill School, offering a comprehensive, four-hour deep dive into Shelly products and wiring. These sessions cost approximately £120 per session and enable participants to complete the Bronze or Silver assessment.
