This ProSAFE GS110TP Smart switch fills the gap between an unmanaged and a fully managed solution. This is ideal for businesses that want control over their network without the cost and complexity of a full Layer 2/Layer 3 management implementation. The Netgear ProSAFE GS110TP provides 8 ports of 10/100/1000 Gigabit data, with all 8 ports capable of providing industry-standard IEEE 802.3af power to IP PoE enabled devices. In addition there are two Gigabit Fibre ports for uplinks with greater distance.
Description
The Netgear ProSAFE GS110TP offers useful PoE power management features to help you better control and monitor your power resource. The PoE timer can help turn off the PoE ports during certain times of the day so that your network is more secure as well as energy efficient. It also allows you to prioritise power usage so that selected ports are guaranteed to get the power first if total power required exceeds the total power budget. It is capable of delivering up to 15.4W of power to devices such as IP phones and IP door entry system providing flexibility and ease of deployment to your network.
