The HPE Networking Instant On AP27 is an access point with WiFi 6 (802.11ax) technology, capable of managing up to 75 simultaneous clients. The AP27 is designed primarily for outdoor deployments, being both IP67 rated (meaning it's both dust and waterproof) as well as withstanding temperatures from -40 to 65 degrees celsius, offering an extremely robust access point without compromising on connectivity strength or speed. Engineered specifically to be fully weatherproof, the AP27 would be well-suited to providing high-speed coverage across car parks, outdoor workspaces or camping grounds.
Description
The AP27 offers superfast WiFi 6 (802.11ax) technology with throughputs of up to 1.2Gbps on the 5 GHz band, including 2x2 MU-MIMO performance for maximum coverage and smooth traffic handling, as well as being fully compatible with Smart Mesh to eliminate any coverage blackspots and blanket an area with reliable connectivity.
Despite its ultra-rugged IP67 rating the chassis is sleek and compact, offering high performance for a low aesthetic impact, and also includes a suite of sophisticated security protocols, superior client roaming facilitated by ClientMatch, and OFDMA to streamline traffic management.
